I have recently injured my back and carrying through my regular life activities has become very troublesome. I am very limited with what I can do now and this has affected my career life and personal life. Am I able to file for Disability for not being able to fulfill a major life activity? I heard there is a law about this.

Answer:
Yes, that is correct. According to the ADA a person with a disability is kept from completing one or more major life activities. These activities are defined under the hub of physical as well as mental and social activities. Furthermore, depending on your disability and how it affects one or more major life activities, there are certain statutes and limitations that legally affect acceptance of your condition as an eligible disability. A good Disability attorney can help analyze your disability, how it affects your life, and ensure you are awarded benefits fairly.
Talk to a Social Security Disability Lawyer to find out what evidence you will need to build your case and successfully get benefit payments.
Good luck.
