Learning Disability

Under the United States disability laws, individuals who have a learning disability that makes them unable to perform activities for gainful employment may be able to obtain a disability benefit. A disability benefit is a payment made to those who are unable to work to help provide them with an income. The learning disability must be severe enough to prohibit the individual from working. More so, a Social Security Administration approved professional, usually a doctor, to qualify, must formally diagnose it. If you have a significant learning disability and qualify for this type of disability, you can apply for disability benefits directly through the Social Security Administration's website.
